Now part of the phosphorous family

    • Michigan Weather Service is now Michigan Weather Service by phosphorous — phosphorous is the parent company, owned by Henry Green.

Michigan Weather Service rebrand + Prism theme

    • Renamed the app to Michigan Weather Service (MWS). New name across the header, footer, share cards, PWA manifest, and iOS home-screen title.
    • Added a fifth theme — Prism — now the default: iridescent violet + cyan gradients on a deep indigo canvas.
    • New Prism typography: Space Grotesk display paired with Inter Variable body.
    • Prism favicon mark with matching dark/light variants that auto-swap with the mode.
    • PWA quick-actions added: long-press the home-screen icon (iOS 16.4+ / Android) for Alerts, Radar, Forecasts, and Chase Mode — the closest a web app can get to a widget.
    • Refreshed theme-color meta so the iOS status bar and Android chrome tint match Prism.

    • Switched typography for the Minimal theme to Inter Tight (display) + Inter (body) for a clean, contemporary feel.
    • Custom favicon mark for Minimal — geometric monogram with separate dark-mode (outlined ring) and light-mode (filled square) variants that auto-swap with the chosen mode.
    • Light and dark mode both fully tuned for Minimal, with matching border, surface, and accent tokens.

    • Stronger backdrop blur and saturation so colors behind the glass bleed through as light.
    • Fixed the SPC Severe Outlook tabs — Day 1, Day 2, and Day 3 now load correctly with cache-busted images.
